Practical & internship

Self-Learning is online · the internship hours are real.

The MoE-only Personal Trainer diploma requires 20 supervised internship hours on a real gym floor, signed off by the head coach. Self-Learning students can complete these at Performance First (our sister facility in Beirut, included with your one month of free PF membership on enrollment) or at any gym you work with · we just need the signed SAS internship log.

Internship hours · PT Self-Learning

20 hours, signed off by a head coach.

20 hours is what the Lebanese Ministry expects of a starter PT credential, and what we ask for on the Self-Learning track. If you upgrade to EREPs ($250 adjustment), the requirement rises to 80 hours to match the European EREPs L4 standard.

Common questions

FAQ.

Is the diploma the same as the in-person one?

Yes · literally the same Lebanese MOE Personal Trainer diploma. Same curriculum, same practical content (the tronc commun shared with the in-person cohort), same final certificate. The only differences are format (fully online, self-paced) and practical assessment (submitted video instead of in-person).

How long does it take?

At your pace. Most students finish in 12-16 weeks. You have up to 6 months of access from enrolment.

When can I start?

Self-Learning is rolling · start within 24 hours of enrolment, no need to wait for the August cohort.

Can I upgrade to EREPS L4?

Yes · and the upgrade path is identical whether you did the Self-Learning or the in-person diploma. Both produce the same MOE PT credential. Add the EREPS adjustment modules ($250) any time during or after the course to get EREPS L4 recognition across 18+ European countries and the GCC.

Can I be in another country?

Yes. The Self-Learning version is designed for students outside Lebanon. All assessment is remote.

What about refunds?

All payments are non-refundable, but your fees are transferable to another SAS Coaching Diploma course or a future cohort, with a valid reason and subject to SAS-CCE review. Refunds are only considered in cases of force majeure (documented medical emergencies or other exceptional circumstances). Full policy on our Refund Policy page.
