Theory runs online. Every pool-deck practical is delivered at the International Maritime Academy (IMA) pool at Portemilio, Kaslik. One SAS curriculum, one final diploma, one location.

FAQ.
Do I need to be a competitive swimmer?
No, but you do need to be a confident swimmer across all four strokes. We assess at intake. If you're newer to one stroke, Coached gives you the deck time to close the gap.
Is this a lifeguard qualification?
No. We cover safety and rescue fundamentals, but full lifeguard certification is a separate, country-specific qualification we don't issue.
How long does it take?
Self-Study: 3 to 6 months at your pace. Coached: about 2 months, online theory then pool practicals at the International Maritime Academy, Portemilio, Kaslik.
Where are the pool-deck practicals?
At the International Maritime Academy, Portemilio, Kaslik. You'll receive the dates at enrolment.
What about refunds?
All payments are non-refundable, but your fees are transferable to another SAS Coaching Diploma course or a future cohort, with a valid reason and subject to SAS-CCE review. Refunds are only considered in cases of force majeure (documented medical emergencies or other exceptional circumstances). Full policy on our Refund Policy page.
Can I pay in LBP?
Yes · at the SAS reference rate, settled in cash at our Baabda office, or by bank transfer. USD by bank transfer or wire.
