In Dubai, hiring managers ask one question first: "Are you KHDA-recognised?" You'll be able to say yes. Dubai's gym chains and hotel fitness teams know what to look for. NASM CPT plus KHDA is the combination that gets you to the interview, and through it.

Olympic Champion Oleksiy Torokhtiy teaching at Desert Barbell Dubai UAE Launch event · Jan 2026

How we entered Dubai

We launched in Dubai with an Olympic Champion.

In January 2026, SAS Coaching Diploma ran its first ever workshop in the UAE: an 18-hour Olympic weightlifting certification at Desert Barbell taught by Oleksiy Torokhtiy, 2012 Olympic Champion. The NASM CPT Cohort 1 you're looking at right now is the follow-up. Same standard, recurring delivery.

Why two credentials matter

NASM is global. KHDA is local. You'll want both.

Walk into any Dubai gym and the first question's the same: "Are you KHDA-recognised?" NASM gets you respect internationally. KHDA gets you hired locally, on day one. You graduate with both.

NASM CPT (US accredited)
KHDA · Dubai regulator

NASM CPT

National Academy of Sports Medicine · the US-accredited PT certification trusted in 80+ countries. The credential gyms in the US, UK, Europe and across the GCC ask for. You pass the NASM exam; the certification is yours for life.

KHDA-Attested Diploma

Knowledge and Human Development Authority · Dubai's official education regulator. Without this seal, your qualification is "international." With it, it's recognised by the UAE. Big difference at hiring desks. SAS-CCE is a KHDA-approved NASM partner in Dubai.

Who teaches you

Two faculty tracks. One cohort.

The theoretical NASM CPT content is delivered by SAS Coaching Diploma's academic faculty, the same doctors who teach our EREPS Personal Trainer diploma in Beirut. The hands-on Dubai weekends are run by a Dubai-based coaching team at Lucky's Gym Al Quoz. You graduate trained by both.
